Velyncia Caldwell-Mallory is the Senior Lighting Technician at the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. She is a Louisiana native with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Theater from Grambling State University and has a Master of Arts in Theater from Louisiana Tech University. Velyncia has been employed at the Meyerson for almost 10 years and is excited about the future of the DSO. She is also owner of VC Events, where she loves helping clients create THE event experience by enhancing and amplifying their brand, product, and message through event audio and visual services. A few of her clients are Dallas Black Dance Theatre, The Black Academy of Arts & Letters, and other dance and performing arts companies throughout the metroplex. Her mission is to be an example for young women wanting to develop as leaders and entrepreneurs and to provide opportunities for training for production technicians of color. Velyncia loves the Dallas Arts Scene and culture and embracing it with her family.

Phase I Planning
If you fail to plan then you plan to Fail! Our team of professional designers will help develop or enhance the vision for your event, and tell your brand’s story. We are there for site visits, design meetings, and phone calls to collaborate on an unique concept for your event and create a personalized service just for you.
Phase II Design
Our talented designers are event experts that take the ideas from gathered at planning and combine them with the latest technology in event lighting, audio and music, and video projection design to create the vision that was discussed.
Phase III Implementation
Relax on event day knowing that VC Designs offers turnkey event production services and know that our industry experts have every element of your production under control.
